B-BBEE

The GoSolutions B-BBEE add-on for Microsoft Dynamics® NAV is designed to take the pain out of managing your BEE information.

Using the add-on, you can:

  • use a template sector scorecard to determine your company’s current BEE score
  • use the scorecard to identify improvement opportunities and set targets
  • create new, periodic scorecards whenever required
  • track verification submissions and issued certificates
  • keep a complete record of vendors’ BEE certificates
  • create detailed reports.

Historical and current BEE data at your fingertips

Both historical and current BEE master data is provided, together with the gazette dates on which the legislation changed. If you contribute to the Enhancement Plan, setup updates are available as a configuration package, whenever required.

Capturing and tracking BEE certificates

With the B-BBEE add-on, you can record verification period and submission data, issue and expiry dates and other key data relating to issued BEE certificates. If you use ZetaDocs Express Edition, you can conveniently drop in a copy of a BEE certificate for safekeeping. Alternatively, you can use the Standard NAV Record Links for this.

Tracking vendor BEE certificates

Similarly, you can capture vendor BEE certificates and key data about them, and use BEE-related fields to filter vendors for given BEE criteria. During your own submissions, the add-on helps by identifying the best (not always the latest) valid vendor certificate for each vendor, given the verification period and submission date in question.

Comprehensive reporting on vendor recognised spend

Comprehensive reporting is available to assist in obtaining a vendor BBE certificate and determining recognised spend information for a given BEE verification period. The preferential procurement spend with your vendors is calculated, along with the percentage spend for your specified BEE verification period, to establish a rating.

Alerts

The add-on generates warnings in the period before a certificate expires. It also warns you if you select a vendor with a lower than expected contribution level on a purchase document.
